WORK SHOP is a design studio and multidisciplinary creative space offering drawing courses, art camps and creative workshops from a beautiful, reimagined 1930s shopfront in the centre of Bantry Town. Run by experienced, accredited designers and educators Mark Wickham and Tara Kennedy, our year-round courses are for adults and children of all ages and abilities.
At WORK SHOP, we also offer professional design services including graphic design, illustration, urban design, exhibition design, spatial design and architecture. We create high quality, ambitious work in the spirit of collaboration, connection and community. Everything we do starts with a drawing.

Our COURSES run for a number of weeks. We keep class sizes small so participants get individual attention and have plenty room to work comfortably in our bright and friendly space.
Children’s classes have a maximum number of 12, and 8 for adults. Workshops are run as; standalone classes, block courses (as a series) & also as special events.
Drawing Evening with friends & colleagues
We are now running Team Building/Bonding workshops where your team can drop in, sit down and have a go at creating some portraits. It’s a great way to focus on eachother in a relaxed setting and enjoy the creative process of portrait drawing. Also, it’s a lot of fun.
We’ll talk through the basics of how to draw someones portrait and how to capture their likeness.
